This story is written from Daemons POV. I feel we are always left wondering why he makes the decisions he makes. What is he really after? We find out in this retelling of House of the Dragon that things aren't always what they may have seemed in the show. (Not canon) I try to stay as accurate to his character as I can. This story will veer from canon at times but keep major plot points. He and Rheanyra are end game but you'll have to be patient. I plan on exploring Daemons relationship with Laena and possibly Rheanyras relationship with Harwin as well. Upon discovering that she and her family are not the last dragon riders remaining after the Doom, Queen Maekara Maltheon embarks on a journey to meet the Targaryens.
