This story is written from Daemons POV. I feel we are always left wondering why he makes the decisions he makes. What is he really after? We find out in this retelling of House of the Dragon that things aren't always what they may have seemed in the show. (Not canon) I try to stay as accurate to his character as I can. This story will veer from canon at times but keep major plot points. He and Rheanyra are end game but you'll have to be patient. I plan on exploring Daemons relationship with Laena and possibly Rheanyras relationship with Harwin as well. There's a lot to unpack so let's get started. *All House of the Dragon content and characters alluded to or mentioned belongs to Warner Brothers and George R. R. Martin.*

Torn between his newfound obligations and maintaining a life of those closest to him, Rhaegan must navigate his way through tumultuous tasks as he dreads what the future may hold and how he can protect those he loves.
