Once per year a contest called Twisted Metal is held by a man named Calypso. The winner of this contest can wish for anything his or her heart desires no matter how twisted the wish can be. Whether it be money, fame, women, or even revenge, anything is on the table for a prize. However be careful what you wish for as even the most innocent of wishes can be turned against the winner by Calypso or the winner's very words and result in an early ticket to the afterlife. But you aren't alone as many other drivers some more insane than others want to win Twisted Metal as much as the last one. Each using a modified car to battle in head to head car combat.
