A tiny snippet of a much larger worldbuilding universe of mine. Synopsis: There are two sides to every story, no matter how narrow the scope of that story may be; there is a villain for every hero, no matter the nature of either. To Mo Long- to the world- Jin Guang is a villain, driven by his tragic past to do unforgivable things. To Jin Guang, to the Barrier of Shenzhou, he himself is a villain, tearing apart the life and love he should have had for the sake of nothing at all. A villain should not love. A villain should be cold and cruel and uncompromising, should place that selfish ideal above all else. But he loved. It was a love inherently flawed, inherently broken in nature, but it was love all the same, despite its nature and its end. And thus did the garden of his torment grow. All Rights Reserved
