The Great Hope for a Dynasty
❝Once, I was the great hope for a dynasty...❞ "We are family. And we must act as such. This fighting must cease, and it must be now. I will not tolerate any more strife in our house. House Targaryen must stay united and strong." In the year 113 after Aegon's Conquest, Queen Alicent went into labor and brought forth a new princess for House Targaryen. The years pass, and Princess Aella finds herself in the middle of a bloody war for the Iron Throne. {jacaerys velaryon/oc} {jacaerys velaryon/baela targaryen/oc} {mix of show!canon and book!canon} 🐉👑🐉
The Fire That Burns Within US - Aemond Targaryen
Like her mother, Princess Visenya Velaryon had grown closer with her uncle Aemond. The two children would often sneak away from their duties to play with the wooden swords Aemond had stolen for the Princess, or lay outside of the dragon pit watching as the creators of their house flew around, or sometimes they would sit in the gardens with the rest of the new generation of Velaryon and Targyern, sitting next to each other and often the of two children would lay their head on the others shoulder and drift to sleep grasping onto each other's hand. But as they grew up, the feelings they had for each other grew into something more, Aemond growing protective over Visenya and glaring at any lord or prince that would come her way at balls wanting a dance, wanting nothing more for his mother and father to agree to the Princess Rhaenyra proposal of marriage between the two. When the two were ripped apart from each other after a mishap about a claiming of a dragon and the loss of an eye, the two of them thought the other would forget about them. They would not be there to keep each other safe, and the fire they had burning within them would slowly be snuffed out. ~I think of how the mystics read by the light of their own bodies. What a world of darkness that must have been to read by the flaming hearts that turn into heaps of ash on the altar, how everything, in the end, is made equal by the wind.~ Daenys Velaryon lives only for others, yet within her heart, she harbours a whisper of selfish desire. She has dedicated her life to her brothers, becoming their staunch advocate, their steadfast defender, their eldest sister, entwined with their destinies. What purpose, she wonders, could she have if not in their service? Yet, in the quiet moments, when shadows soften the world, she dreams of a life unfettered, free from the heavy chains of duty and sacrifice. She does not covet the Iron Throne, nor does she wish to spill her blood for its cold, unyielding promise. However, to forsake her responsibilities and thrust them upon her brothers would make them a target of the realm's violence, defying the very essence of her being. For Daenys is nothing if not their protector, the guardian of their fate, even as she longs for a destiny of her own. **Prequel to An Eye for an Eye **Book 1/2 Rankings - #1 in houseofthedragon (2/7/2024) - #1 in aemondtargaryen (19/6/2024) - #1 in aemond (29/6/2024)Complete
The Erased Tale Of Visenya Targaryen
'What about the shape of my body makes me incapable of rule? did you strike down King Jaehaerys the conciliator when his body grew frail from age? No. Did you strike down King Aenys in his illness? No. Did you strike down King Viserys when his arm was claimed? No. So why now do you deny me for the body I inhabit? Regardless, what you think of me. I am Visenya Of House Targaryen and Velaryon. I am the daughter of Ser Laenor Velaryon. The granddaughter and Heir of Lord Corlys Velaryon, the great Sea Snake and captain of the Velaryon fleet. Granddaughter of Princess Rhaeyns Targaryen. The Granddaughter of Queen Aemma Arynn and King Viserys Targaryen. I am the daughter of our rightful Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen. The blood that flows inside my body is that of the Conqueror Aegon Targaryen, and of his bride and my own namesake, Visenya the first. I am not by any means the heir any of you desired, but I am your heir regardless. And my body, as womanly as it is, is no sign of weakness, no sign of frailty, nor is it a right to deny me the birthright you would so happily hand my brother. I am Visenya Targaryen, Second of her name, Heir to the Iron Throne! Bow... or burn.'

The Gods We Can Touch |Aemond Targaryen x Niece!Reader|
The older twin of Prince Jacaerys Velaryon, you were a picture of the maiden, untouched and untainted by man's sins. At least, that was what Alicent Hightower believed when she held you in her arms moments after her old friend's labors. You were her shining light, her dream. Though you were never hers, she believed you were meant to be. What will become of you as time passes and the Queen's shining light grows within the blackened darkness? Will her eldest son's morbid fascination with the light burn the realm? Or will her second son's obsession with the only daughter of Rhaenyra Targaryen change the course of the Seven Kingdoms as we know it? "I have outlasted all desire, My dreams and I have grown apart; My grief alone is left entire, The gleamings of an empty heart. The storms of ruthless dispensation Have struck my flowery garland numb, I live in lonely desolation And wonder when my end will come." ☆☆☆☆ All House of the Dragon/A Song of Ice and Fire warnings apply, but I will put specific ones with each chapter. However, there will be depictions of childhood sexual assault and the trauma response/coping mechanisms that can stem from it. You've been warned. The reader does have a name and the typical Targaryen/Strong features, but other than that, the descriptions are vague.

The New Dragon Age
Daemon and Rhaenyra married. Their first child was sent by the Gods to save them all. Deirys Targaryen was born with a direct connection to the Fourteen Flames and the magic of Old Valyria. Her connection to her uncle will change the Dance of the Dragons. This story will not follow the TV show or the book timeline. This is a love story where the dance of the dragons does not happen. I have no idea where this story is going. Please be aware that this is just fan fiction and not an actual book. so even if you don't like it, do not live mean comments. There is no need for that.Complete

But when an arranged marriage places her directly between the two factions, she quickly learns that surviving a war and ending one are not the same thing. As old loyalties fracture and the realm drifts toward bloodshed, Daenerys finds herself caught between duty and freedom, love and family, and the impossible choice of deciding who she is willing to sacrifice for peace.
