This is a place of wonders, and a place of little trust.. well, almost little trust. Despite all of the bad things everything is in general normal-ish, except for Aspen.
He's a mysterious young adult that travels alone and typically always ends up wanted. He's a traveler, with little to no time to stay in the same place.
On a mission to travel to The Peak, the largest mountain known. It stretches far, far above the clouds.
During travels three Vampires join in on the quest.
They don't know the dangers of this black haired, sapphire-eyed man.

For as long as I could remember vampires ruled other humans. I found it that way and I believed that was an injustice. Not like I could do much about it. Once I turned of age, I would be sold as a blood slave, a pet and my life would possibly end. I never liked these creatures to begin with. Adding salt to injury I was bought by a royal vampire, the prince. I cursed the day I was born. Maybe not all vampires were the same, but for humans that was just wishful thinking.
