Robin has a reputation at school, he's a popular guy who has most likely fucked every girl in the school. Finney also has a reputation, not a good one. Finney is a nerdy kid who loves NASA, space, rockets, etc. No one has tried to get to know him, except for Griffin.

Robin's mom is a lovely lady, she has a lot of friends like her son and she's in a happy married relationship. Finney's mom is the same. Robin's mom and Finney's mom met at a cooking competetion in 1992 and have been best friends ever since, no matter how much Finney hates Robin.
