Nico di Angelo is a normal 16 year old boy. Or so people thought. Behind closed doors, Nico is a depressed teen dealing with his abusive boyfriend Nathaniel. One day, the abuse becomes too much and Nico runs into the woods in seek of escape. What he didn't realize is, there is more creatures in the forest he's grown up near almost all his life. Will Solace is a normal 18 year old. In his world that is. Will is a werewolf. He is the heir to his father's throne. As the Alpha's son, he needs a mate in order to rule the pack and carry on the Alpha generation. But, each werewolf is linked with another person at birth. The parents have nothing to do with it. He was supposed to find his mate at age 16, but he hasn't. His wolf, Sol, has been saying he feels like the werewolf females are not his type. And when his parents allow him to meet werewolf males, he still doesn't feel any connection to any of them. When he sees a small male human brought forcefully into the pack, he suddenly feels something he hadn't felt before. A mate's connection. But, how would Will's pack react to having a human alpha? Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things.
