The Vantes could not be found in the history books of today's modern world and no modern mankind has ever witnessed one of them or even came close to their living habitat. Their skin color was just like humans, a flesh-color, but what was extraordinary in their bodies were the thin, purple lines scattered on their skins. 
Taehyung is a Vante and Seokjin is one of the modern mankind. Their worlds were separated with a definite line for centuries, but Taehyung wants to cross that line.
