When Alima Song's parents vanish for no reason, she eventually thinks that they're dead, so she moves from her home in California to the tourist town of Cloncarrig, Ireland to get away from her grief. Aside from issues with the Fair Folk, she gets to know some Malachy Bray and his friends, finds a job, a house, and adopts a stray dog.

Unknown to most people, the dog is Ned Song, her cursed but very much living father. He and her mother Lucy have not been killed--they "just" got kidnapped and cursed by the Wild Hunt, who are also the ones that keep trailing Alima after she moved.

The Irish gods do not enjoy thinking about why a whole gang of fairies are messing with the Song family, but since their leader is a force of nature, they'll have to start improvising their help.

𝙊𝙋𝙃𝙀𝙇𝙄𝘼 𝙇𝙔𝙉𝘾𝙃'S fury was a storm that broke loose the second she saw her sister go down. Without a second thought, she mistook 𝙅𝙊𝙃𝙉𝙉𝙔 𝙆𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙂𝙃 for the culprit and decided he deserved a dose of his own medicine. Grabbing the rugby ball, she launched it back at him with a force that was all raw, righteous anger. Johnny saw her, and in that moment, the entire world outside of her seemed to fade away. He was a boy who lived and breathed the game, but her sheer intensity pulled his attention off the pitch. It wasn't her body he noticed first, but her eyes-the color of whiskey, sharp and defiant, framed by dark lashes that contrasted with the soft, rebellious pink in her hair. He noticed the way she swallowed hard, as if choking down words she couldn't dare to speak, and the way her jaw tightened before she unleashed a snarky remark at his best friend, Gibsie. He was captivated. But he knew, with a certainty that was both thrilling and terrifying, that girls like her came with a warning label. They were the ones who broke you and then laughed as you bled. Still, a dangerous instinct told him that to let her walk away would be a regret he'd carry forever. ♱ ᴏᴘʜᴇʟɪᴀ ʙʀɪᴅɢᴇᴛ ᴍᴜʀᴘʜʏ, ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʜɪʟᴅ ᴏꜰ ᴀ ʟᴏᴠᴇʟᴇꜱꜱ ᴀꜰꜰᴀɪʀ. ᴛʜᴇ ᴏɴᴇ ᴡʜᴏ ʜᴀꜱ ʙᴇᴇɴ ʙᴇᴀᴛᴇɴ ᴅᴏᴡɴ ᴀɴᴅ ɢᴜᴛᴛᴇᴅ ʙʏ ʜᴇʀ ᴏᴡɴ ꜰᴀᴍɪʟʏ. ᴛʜᴇ ʏᴏᴜɴɢ ɢɪʀʟ ᴡʜᴏ ʙᴇᴄᴀᴍᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴇᴀᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴅᴏɢ. ꜱʜᴇ ʙɪᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴏᴡɴ! ꜱʜᴇ ᴇᴀᴛꜱ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʙʟᴏᴏᴅ! ʙᴜᴛ ꜱʜᴇ'ꜱ ꜱᴄᴀʀᴇᴅ, ᴄʀʏɪɴɢ ᴀɴᴅ ᴘʀᴀʏɪɴɢ ꜰᴏʀ ᴀ ᴡᴀʏ ᴏᴜᴛ! ♱

**Coming to KU in January 2026** Sometimes fate brings you exactly what you need before you even realize it. *** Brigid Kelly has lost everything and no amount of spells or wishes stopped it. After her Gran fell ill and passed away, Brigid wasn't able to keep her grandmother's metaphysical shop going. With everything crashing down around her, Brigid buys a one-way ticket to the land of her ancestors, hoping to find solace in the old cabin where her Gran grew up. Ireland is everything she was always told it was and then some. As she sorts out the slowly declining house in the woods, she's thrust into the path of handsome Torin Boyle by circumstance. The walls she's built up around her heart are slowly chipped away as Torin reveals pieces of himself as well, opening not only his home but his heart too. Torin Boyle has spent the last thirty-odd years living in the North of Ireland, running through the rolling hills with his friends. As a pack of wolf Shifters in a country that has no natural wolves, Torin has learned to keep a tap on his inner emotions to protect those he loves. But his homeland is dying; small patches of forest turning brown and dry. When a witch appears on his family's land out of nowhere, he's concerned that the witch is to cause for what's been happening to the land. He never expected to feel pulled into her orbit so completely. Brigid's idyllic life comes to a halt when Torin's father falls ill, closely followed by other members of the Shifter's family. The land around them - the very land where Brigid's ancestors lived - is dying. If Brigid and Torin can't figure out how to fix it, she might not be the only one losing those she loves. **Trigger Warnings - mentions of hospitals and death/cancer; loosing loved ones**

Ben and his mute sister Saoirse live with their father Conor in a lighthouse, haunted by the mysterious disappearance of their mother Bronagh. When Saoirse discovers a magical coat that transforms her into a seal, Tad (the Song of the sea) reveals her as the last remaining 'seal-child' Through haunting flashbacks, we learn that after Mac Lir's ancient curse turned emotions to stone, the selkie people were systematically hunted to near-extinction. Bronagh, the sole survivor carrying the weight of her lost culture, has been living in hiding as a seal, watching over her children from afar while being pursued by Macha's brother, Kai, who seeks to eliminate the final selkie bloodlines When a comedic seagull urges Ben to help Saoirse find her people, a manipulative wolf tricks them into Macha's trap. Saoirse's journey becomes one of recognition when she encounters a mysterious seal who moves with haunting familiarity - slowly realizing it's Bronagh, her mother, who has been protecting her all along. As the last selkie, Saoirse must find the courage to sing the ancient song that will free both the cursed spirits and restore her grief-stricken family. It's a story about cultural survival, generational trauma, and a daughter's power to heal what was broken - not just in an entire lost civilization, her relationship with her brother. 2025 adaptation of the award-winning animated film, based on Tomm Moore's folklore trilogy.

A vampire dark fantasy novel. - On a Summer night girl's night, five friends have a party and camp out back of the big Five-Story Mansion located in a secluded forest where there are only three neighbors nearby. Rosalie's mother is a lawyer and her father is a person who looks at stars. She was thankful to have a house like that. As Rosalie and her friends circled around sitting in camping chairs next to the huge fancy RV her father sat outback next to the river she saw a shooting star had fallen from the milky way and landed into the river. Everyone was shocked and scared. Was it an Alien? Or something more sinister and dangerous? Or was it nothing to be afraid of? This would be a story she would tell everyone she knew in her family about after camping in the huge forbidden forest outside her Mansion. Rosalie got a closer look at the star to see the star had turned into a gemstone necklace. Her friends let her keep it. What she didn't know was that the necklace had special extraordinary powers and other supernatural creatures are after the gemstone necklace. Rosalie has a job as a stay at home writer and is only twenty-four years old and lives with her parents and some animals. She doesn't know that having this special Necklace means that there is a supernatural war between two Worlds. Can she win this fight or will she die trying to save humankind from extinction?
