Rumor has it, that Hope's Peak Academy Is haunted by a victim of their sinister practices. Unfazed and skeptical, Nagito Komaeda decides to walk around at night, to see what all the fuss is about.
This might take some explaining. Ill try my best to make it in story form instead of just telling you. Just don't go into this expecting anything resembling the canon story, m'kay?
I was reading story prompts and one caught my eye. I adapted it a little, and decided to come up with this. Don't question it, okay? Just- It's not important. Unless people actually enjoy this, it'll be more of a side project that I'll work on when I have no idea what to do with the other two. What? I don't have two ongoing stories? Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to.

Nagito Komaeda is a mute boy. He's been mute his entire life, and fins himself to dream of what it would be like to speak, and being envious of those who do speak. Without any parents or legal guardians to adopt him or such, he lives at a hospital near his school. There, he has a few friends. Although, each day, a butterfly tends to come and visit his hospital bedroom window, an odd occurrence, to put it in simplest terms. Alongside this, Hajime Hinata is what people would call a normal boy. His life usually was nothing to write home about, and he was at least able to realize that. He hardly had any friends, the count only being two, and he usually felt a longing. A longing for a more unique and special life, something that would contrast from the rest of it all. As if to grant his simple wish, a butterfly is usual to turn up by his own bedroom window every day, checking up on him like some worried mother. An after-story of the Danganronpa 3 Hope Arc. After returning to Tokyo when the Tragedy ended, the Hope Peak Academy's 77th class vowed to help rebuild the damage that was done which were caused by them as being remnants of Despair. They separated ways and promised to reunite. It's been three years and still had no contact with each other. This story follows Nagito Komaeda and his journey and how he coped up to live a "normal" life. Also, this empty feeling in his chest comes once in a while, and a memory of a man keeps him awake sometime. Who is he?Complete
