Deepti, a shy and chubby girl, who has always had an unrequited love towards her mama (Aunt's son) a.k.a. murai paiyan, Sanjay.

Sanjay married Meghna after a few years of being in a relationship. They have a son, Veer. But Sanjay had lost his love to the deadly virus, Covid-19. Meghna passed away during the pandemic. He was broken and no longer the same.

Sanjay's Amma (mother) had an idea to help her son, so they were forced to marry each other. With no other choice, As solution Sanjay proposed a contract between the two. Which is to stay married only for a year and to get divorced. During this one year, they can live their separate lives.
