Heartache is Only Temporary

Heartache is temporary, they say.
Tommy was living through a cycle, knowing well enough the gods, especially Lady Life (Prime) would never grant him freedom of such a thing ; peace and him never did mix.
It didn't help that XD loved to see him suffer and break under pressure like glass, even after he strayed from his side, wanting to mould him into a weapon of chaos and destruction.
One day, Life was kind and gave him somewhat of a chance to piece himself back together. It would be out of the ordinary if she handed things to him on a silver platter without a catch.
No longer would he let the strings of fate pull him under, till he simply gave up and submitted to the future he was told he was destined to full-fill.
He was not going to let the gods cascade obstacles in his path, throwing down all that they could to stop him. It was time for him to piece this puzzle, that was his life, together.
After all, you can not fly without falling.
