Alright... Okay, so I really had the "balls" to publicate this? Nahhh, unbelievable! I wonder how long it stayed private in my notes on the phone... Anyway! It seems like I really publicated it, and uh, I am surprised I actually did it. It was a test if I am 'ABLE' (haha 076-2 joke) to write x readers, if I can write in my non native language, English and if I know Plague Doctor well, since i could or still can only feel into my own OCs.

The idea to actually write an x reader came to me while trying to find an interesting x reader with some scp since I read x readers when I am bored or for fun. And the second idea that the reader should be a chaos insurgent came from me being into Chaos Insurgency and that I don't think someone has done it before. Idea came true on 8th of October 2022 y. when i started writing this... thing.

Since then, I've conducted minor edits for comprehension and line delivery. I'm curious to hear your thoughts, dear reader... Or should I say, poor reader? This story's metanarrative began when a good friend of mine at the time had shared a document with a number of close friends, under the expectation of them collaborating to construct a creative piece. The founding writing, only a paragraph and written by that friend, was of a single undefined character narrating their spooky and memey adventure. That never happened, except with that friend who started the original document to me, to a small extent. Chaos and Cringe was originally inspired by cringey/edgy horror fanfictions, such as Hitler.exe, My Immortal, and Voice Box. This story is therefore a fanfiction of fanfictions. Who is deceiving who, and is it someone on the inside or the outside? Will everyone survive and get to safety? Will people die because of you? In the end, the answers were never what you would have expected.
