in the year 2330 a women by the name of rosaira louse had twins. to the doctors surprise one o the twins died. but born was a girl. this girl had shiny white hair like the emperor. the doctor tried to annonuce to the emperor that there was an offspring, but the doctor was killed by rosaira. Rosiaria has a special power, but so does the emperor. 

while the emeperor and rosaria argue apon the agreements of the child, the dead twin disinagrates. after the agreement, rosaria raised the girl but not like a mother should have. 

seven years later the child comes to find her dead mother with blood around her wrist. the girl gathers things and begins to search for her father. in the meanwhile, a shadow follows the girl for her protection. demons arose and the emperor goes to fight when he comes back there is a shocking surprise.All Rights Reserved

Demons now ruled above and below the ground, quickly thinning the human population. Only a fraction of humans survived, and the remaining humans hide in fear of the Demons. To survive, Demons need to feast on the anguish and souls of the living. Any humans now found are rounded up and become cattle to the Demons. Until they are nothing but a shell of themselves, and waste away for good. Angels on the other hand fight the Demons. They do everything in their power to protect humans. Many of the higher ranking Angels were wiped out. The remaining angels are led by Archangels, and their job is to make the world right again and wipe out the Demon menace for good. This follows the story of Brianna and her struggle to survive in this apocalyptic world. When tragedy strikes, what will Brianna do to survive? How far is she willing to go to save those she loves?

Michael goes all the way done to the deep dark depths of hell just to ask a question: Why? Shanna, the devil or what she really is, the Empress of Hell, refuses to tell him. So he refuses to leave. At first, Michael is terrified that she will kill him, put once he stays there for just long enough she explains everything. Michael is a brave angel with special abilities. Shanna is the daughter of Satan. They are worlds apart and seem all too different. (BTW i wrote this when i was twelve and IT'S TERRIBLE. just... warning you... *sits in a corner, regretting all my life decisions*)

Cecilia Star has been alive long enough to know what it's like to be a demon in the human realm, but she's also been alive long enough to cope with her everyday life. But when she wakes up handcuffed to a strange Angel she's never met before, she's thrown for a loop. Cecilia assumes it's all just one big, extremely cruel prank by the twins in order to rile her up and test her limits. After all, Maisie is everything that Cecilia would rather leave behind her, determined, opinionated, and so very clearly wrong. But it doesn't take Cecilia and Maisie long to realize that the handcuff prank is a little more than just a lighthearted joke. The thing about Demon metal is that it is a fickle thing. It can only be unlocked by the person who has the key and no matter what method is used, it cannot be broken. Cecilia would rather just forget the whole thing, refuse to give Ezekiel the satisfaction he so wants, and remain handcuffed to Maisie for the rest of her life. It doesn't take long to realize that it's just not possible. Maisie is everything that she shouldn't be in the human realm. Bigoted, rude, and annoyingly difficult. She can't even get close to Cecilia without making some sort of remark on how she can't stand Demons. As the time ticks down and options become less and less, maybe being handcuffed to each other will teach Cecilia and Maisie a thing or two about themselves. Maybe running from the past isn't the right choice and perhaps, maybe even a Demon and Angel could fall in love too. (Entered in the Open Novella Contest 2022 under prompt 79. Soon after avoiding her second death she learns that she had a life in the afterlife as an angel. She decides to find her memories and reunite with her sister. Travelling to Heaven with a guardian angel, and Death himself. She learns the many rules of survival in the afterlife in her travels. The first rule: Trust No One.
