It's been a few years since the Killing School Life that took place in the sealed Hope's Peak Academy. The survivors of Class 78 has joined forces with the Future Foundation in order to restore the world and put an end to the Tragedy.

However, even with its influence severely weakened following the death of Junko Enoshima, despair never truly dies. After Makoto Naegi, the Ultimate Hope, was charged with treason for protecting the Remnants of Despair, the Branch Leaders and high members of Future Foundation find themselves forced into the "Final Killing Game". 

Now finding themselves fighting to survive, will the survivors find a way to beat this cruel killing game and snuff out despair once and for all to achieve their hopeful future?

This story follows Nagito Komaeda and his journey and how he coped up to live a "normal" life. Also, this empty feeling in his chest comes once in a while, and a memory of a man keeps him awake sometime. Who is he?

Follow the story of Zeo the Ultimate Actor (Not real person in anime or games). He was expelled from Hope's Peak Academy before class 78 arrived and Junko Arrived into the picture not knowing anything about Zeo. He originally was a part of class 77 before they turned into ultimate despair. Most of his classmates forgot he was a part of the class. But once the Remanence of Despair returned to Hope's peak Academy after the killing school life was finished and Junko was defeated. They found their class year book and saw his profile on one of the pages and started searching for him. But the Future foundation was one step ahead they found Zeo and took him into custody to draw the Remanence of despair to them. Once they were all caught and placed into cells. Makoto Naegi the head of brach 14 took them to the Neo World program and placed them into it. Where the Junko virus was then put into it. But once Junko was defeated yet again due to the Emergency override inside the Neo World Program. The surveyors of the killing school trip Hajimi/Izuru, Akane, Sonya, Fuyuhiko and Kazuichi. All managed to get ride of the brainwashing and heal their fallen classmates. Then they all found out the person that helped them from Future foundation was entered into another killing game by the head chairman. Who was deceased by this time. They decided to put their differences aside for a couple of hours until they saved their classmate who was planning to get ride of despair. That was Ryota Mitarai. They asked him to join their side but at first he refused but he agreed. They said their fairwells to the Future Foundation and returned to the real Jabberwock Island and kept being ultimate despair just a little less painful. But Izuru found the file and found out where Zeo was placed...

The survivors of the first killing game, along with the participants of the second, all joined the Future Foundation, helping to restore the world back into its peaceful state. Yasuhiro Hagakure then makes a prophecy: "Some of the dead will return, not as themselves but as reincarnations. Two spirits will mix into one and they will be reborn."
