When Izuku Midoriya is born with an upgraded version of his father's quirk, he decides he wants to become a better hero then his dad ever was.
(Izuku's dad is a hero in this AU, he is around the number 5 hero) (Endeavor isn't a horrible father and Todoroki only has and ice quirk which is stronger than his in the Original Series)
