14 year old Eve Harlow who has spent the past year jumping from foster home to foster home, never expected her life to completely flip upside down when she joined Faraday Academy. Established in 1987, Faraday Academy is a school for troubled youth. A school that helps unlucky kids find their purpose and how to properly deal with the trauma that they endured previously.

At first, Eve doesn't think much of it. That is, of course, until she meets a boy.

Camden Gauger, a boy with an unbearable past and an unpredictable future.

Together they figure out how to recover from their trauma, and help each other in ways like no other.
