Well you know what they say, there's always beauty hidden every insecurity...
Aiko Kotori was your average 16 year old girl. She's new to Ouran Academy. You would think she's nothing more than your average nerdy teenage girl...but really deep down there's some pain hidden beneath.
Growing up an only child with 2 hard working parents was hard. Her parents were always away a lot for work and hardly came back unless it was on the holidays (sometimes) or to call and check in every once in a while, so she's being taken care of by her Maid and Butler Kanako Fumioka and Satoshi Hamasaki.
Aiko hasn't seen her parents in over 4 years so not only did she think she was never loved, but she never thought she was pretty either no matter how times people tell her she is, she just doesn't see it because how can she when the people who are supposed to love you...don't?
In school, Aiko would get bullied pretty often for not having any parents or she was completely ignored about...despite this, Aiko does do well in school and is a good student, she just doesn't know how to accept compliments.
It doesn't really bug her much these days so she's not really sad, she's just more hurt and confused because she feels abandoned by her parents and she doesn't get why?
Aside that, she'd just your average girl who doesn't friends or a life, loves to read outside in the sun, play videogames and eat junk good...
But what happens when she not only starts her first day of Ouran Academy, but she stumbles upon Music Room #3? Will she fall for one of the hosts? Or will her true beauty be hidden behind her insecurities?
