Behind the big picture, behind all the ceaseless diplomacy in the New World, the cog in the heavily-armed, militarized geopolitical machine unravels.

From the mystical spooks of CIA's Clandestine Service Division hanging about in the American embassy in the classy city of Otaheit and their shady black sites scattered all over Elysia, to the mechanized troops of the newly modernized -- heavily so -- His Majesty's Muan Armed Forces manning the 2nd Civilization continent first line of defense against the incoming hordes of Gra Valkan Panzers storming through the border, the civil unrests plaguing the Eagle after its abrupt arrival and to the pariah, Ronin-like, nationless volunteers fighting for the modernized Parpaldian Foreign Legion, "The Legion of the Lost Soul", in the wake of the drastic sociopolitical changes on the region that followed America's triumphant victory against the Parpaldians.

This would be their story, hidden behind layers of big picture diplomacy and mere headlines in news channels.

In contrast to the main story, the short will be much more bloody, darker and grim, coupled with extreme profanities so read at your own risk. There will be less of the white-knight, liberator scenes, and more of ghastly grey-grey morality displayed. No sides are fully evil, nor genuinely good, not even America. I also have to mention that this story will not follow a chronological order, but instead, anachronistic one.
