The Core was appalled on how long it took for the three stones to come. But this meant the box was on Amphibia again, which means they wouldn't be stuck in the godforsaken basement for long.

The Core needed everything to fall into place, and they didn't trust Andrias to see it done. No, it wanted to do this itself. So when Andrias tried to shy away from the idea of killing Wit.

It got an idea. A devilish idea. Of course, if its plan was going to work it would have to become almost transparent, hidden in the folds of her mind. The Core didn't mind this. After all, it had been stuck in a basement for many years.

So when it finally inhabited the body of someone so spunky. It was pleased. Seeing the world through the girl's eyes. For all it had to do was wait and bide its time. Hidden in the mind of Wit.
