1011 years have passed since the dragons and Berk decided to go their separate ways. In that time the entrance to the hidden world was closed leaving dragons to live in peace. Now a series of natural disasters have left cities in ruin, new Calderas has opened across the world, dragons being kept within for over a millennia have poured out scattering across the globe. Not interacting in so long war assumes, once again dragons and people are in constant conflict. Until a boy stumbles across a young dragon...it's scales almost as black as night.
