Marinette Dupain-Cheng was dead.

Without the power of Ladybug, and the added-on power of over six miraculous, Hawk Moth is free to make Paris his own utopia as his tyranny reigns over the city and the citizens are getting akumatized left and right. With only Cat Noir and a few other trusted allies, they struggle with the overwhelming power of their arch-nemeses.

Many are left helpless and powerless, including baroness and former high-school bully Chloé Bourgeois. Despite everything that's happened, Chloe does her best to carry on as usual.

Her life is turned even more upside down when she stumbles across both the broken ladybug and bee miraculous. An injured and magically unstable Tiki entrusts her with the powers of both, as she is the only one currently able to withstand their forces. Chloe has doubts about her abilities, but she's not completely alone in her quest with the help of Luka at her side every step of the way.

With the city of Paris in constant upheaval, Hawk Moth growing stronger by the day, and Adrien is proving himself to be a bigger foe than Hawk Moth as his mind slowly succumbs to madness, it is up to Chloe to put a stop to all of it, even if it means putting her own life at risk.
