A spin off of gone, this section of short story things are all based on someone or something dying. If by suicide or the unknown. I needed something like this to write about to try and unblock me from my other stories I'm working on. If you find this offensive, then stop reading.

Siren Song | Yungi
Mingi whispers his song louder, loud enough to lure the human closer, though he's careful not to sing it too loud. It has a tendency to kill friend and foe alike. The man obeys, hanging onto Mingi's every word. He takes a step closer, then another and another until he's practically leaning over the railing. He's close enough now that Mingi can see his stunningly wide eyes and his full lips and it's almost a shame that his life will end here, for he is the most beautiful thing Mingi thinks he's ever laid eyes on. He reaches out a clawed hand to touch the man's face. It's soft and smooth. Mingi is as captivated as the human seems to be and for a split second, the man's eyes are lucid. They are lucid and Mingi realizes he's stopped singing. His voice escapes him and his song dies in his throat and he doesn't even notice until San's voice is gone too and with it, the spell keeping the human obedient and still. OR A pirate tries to capture the siren trying to eat him and everything goes to shit for everyone involved.Complete

Practically everyone has heard of stories about mermaids and the humans they fall in love with. What a lot of people didn't seem to realize was that mermaids are monsters. He is one of the few people that knows the truth about mermaids and acts as the human line of defense against these creatures. But are all mermaids alike? Enter, Midoriya. He spends all his free time watching humans from afar and has grown quite fond of them actually.
