I looked around. Our eyes met but I tore mine away once I realized I gave him too much power over me.

I looked around again as the game began. The orange ball got passed to me and I dribbled away with it, careful not to travel.

I caught him looking at me, I ignored him as I bounce passed the ball to a girl on my team.

She jumped up and made a basket. I smiled, successfully hiding my deep depression.

He followed me. I jogged away trying to be interested in the game going on.

I quickly turned around to catch a glimpse of him. I realized I wasn't fast enough as I felt a warm ball smash against my face and I crumbled to the ground.

I heard pounding, like feet running towards me on the gymnasium floor. I heard a lot but I couldn't see a thing.

Regret filled my mind as I became unconscious.
