Pete was a complicated man who loved an equally complicated man. They were meant to have forever. If only the man he thought was the love of his life had not betrayed him. Please note this is a fanfic based on the characters of Vegas and Pete from Kinnporche. It is just a little idea I had for what would happen if Pete couldn't forgive Vegas betraying him and went on his own journey to find a life away from his past. I wanted to see Pete with someone who would never betray him and would treat him with respect. I also want to see Vegas grow and realize his mistake and come to understand that because of his own selfish pride he will have to either move on from the only person he ever truly loved and trusted or love him from a distance forever.
