Every time they open, my eyes are met with dirt.

I'm Blinded. Blinded by the decaying flesh of all I once tried to hurt.

Blinded. Blinded by the crushing pain of death as I'm buried beneath the earth.

And every time they gasp for air, my lungs are filled with loam

I'm suffocating. Sputtering I vomit. But I'm drowning beneath the substance I once called my home.

I'm deaf. The clay fills my ears like putty.

I'm cold. I feel the rain stabbing through the ground. And I'm bloody.

Who will rescue me from my prison?

From the pain of underworld? My senses are gone and my lungs are stuck.

All I have is a simple direction, but a heavy conviction.
