The need for an easy out, a release, for feeling, drives some monsters to do scary things. Horror's lack of, or at least struggle to use magic makes him an easy target for that abuse. Anything they want to do could be done to him, and probably has. He wants it to stop but it hasn't and he thinks it never will. But there is one thing he has always found strange.
