This is supposed to take place thousands of years before the main cast (minus Monkey King) is born, so even though Wukong will be making minor appearances, the rest of them will not (apart from two at the end)

{Book 1!} Sun Wu Kong, known as the legendary monkey king, has somehow tricked The Six Eared Macaque that he can travel universes with his shadow portals, and Macaque believed him? He travels to a universe where his successor lies in. Anyways, back to Y/n, Y/n was just a normal 15 year old high school girl. She always stayed in another's shadow, wishing for something to lift her out and let her show her full potential. Now that she picked up Macaques staff, Macaque is forced to take y/n under his wing to train her and make her become his successor. Macaque's Successor
The reader is MK's non-identical twin sister. When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother. A/n-The reader has the exact same powers Macaque has, like aquatic breathing, enhanced hearing, Shadow Manipulation, Shadow Cloning, Shadow Monkeys, Shadow Transportation, Shadow Hiding, Smoke Generation, and shape-shifting. Hi, my name's Y/n, and I'm a huge fan of the show Lego Monkie Kid, and let me tell you about the moment that changed my life. LITERALLY! It all happened on a dark and stormy night. Not really, I'm just being dramatic for the effect.I went to school that day, and like always, I was laughed at and ignored for liking "childish" stuff, and when I tried to makes friends, I would always end up coming on people too strong, and I was always made fun of for liking what I like. And because people tell me I act like a child as well. It happened when I was heading home that day. I heard a woman scream and saw her getting robbed. So, I ran to help her, but I was stabbed in the process. I was then left to die and bled out. But when I woke up, I was a small child, covered in mud, standing on a mountain, and in front of me was Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, who I called Baba. And that's when I discovered that I had reincarnated in the LMK world. And from that point, I made friends, a family, and Redson trying to courtnap me every chance he gets.
