Impossible Dreamers
Thousands of years in the future, our civilisation is just an ancient myth. Liana, a 13 year old girl lives in Seren-ila, a valley with a peaceful, sustainable culture, cut off from the rest of the world for hundreds of years. Her best friend, Herago, has an idea about how to show people things that are impossible. Liana dreams of another world outside her valley. Maybe that's where she will find her father, Ralkino, who disappeared when she was little. But neighbouring Bartyronis and its cruel, vain ruler, Tyro, have discovered Seren-ila. The Bartyronians invade, and Seren-ilians are enslaved. Liana and Herago fight back with humour, magic tricks, and dreams. Can children defeat a mighty empire? ***Children, or those reading for children: this story has been fully written, and will only have minor edits as chapters are posted. It will not peter out, nor end without a satisfactory resolution. But I warn you, it is long, and may become addictive as time goes on. *** ***Chapters will be added on Monday, Thursday and Saturday mornings.*** ***Please add your comments, corrections and ideas as you read, and consider voting your approval if you enjoy the story.*** ****13th March 2021. I have decided to take most of this story down on April 30th 2021. If you still want to read or continue reading it, please contact me via my website www.redmagic.co.uk, and I will send you the full text of the book.****Concluida
Hatter's Revenge (rewriting - read at own risk)
There are a few things you need to know about Wonderland. First off, completely misnamed. It should be Terrorland. People don't just accidentally tumble into Wonderland, it sucks them in. There is no following of cute white rabbits with pocket watches. Wonderland is dangerous and you can lose a lot more than your head if you're not careful. Second, the Hearts are in control, but they shouldn't be. The throne of Wonderland rightfully belongs to the Spade heir. But he's currently missing. Third, and probably most important, is that Madison Hatter is NOT a native of Wonderland. He was yanked through a mirror many years ago and has been trying to survive Wonderland ever since. Now he has an idealistic young Real-Worlder on his hands and a rebellion in his heart. Mad is going to remove that Heart Queen if it's the last thing he does. She's the one who stole him from his life all those years ago and he's been waiting for the moment when he can tear her life to shreds in repayment. Beautiful cover made by StormRidden **Warning** I thought it fair to warn potential readers that there is gun violence in this story. If this is something that really bothers you, I would avoid this book. Otherwise please enjoy. Copyright © 2017Concluida
Tire Swing Talk- A Solangelo Story
Nico's nightmares become unbearable and he turns to journaling - the only caveat is that he cannot write, so Paul teaches him how to and Will helps him actually complete the journal. They sit on a swing and recap all the dreams he's had so far. Pretty much a sequel to Nico Has Never Learned Anything but all of our stuff is of course in the same series. Retcon Solangelo/Retcon Trials of Apollo/Retcon The Sun and The Star/Retcon Jason's death (he ain't dead)/Retcon Nico's really weird and incorrect timeline (thanks rick) Written with emonemo on AO3- So if you prefer reading there, it's on their account under the same name. This is technically a standalone story, but we are retconning all of Solangelo, and this work is: Work 17 in that series.Concluida
Lakeerein: Bounded By Destiny
Siya loved Hukum Sa in silence. So silently that she helped prepare for his wedding... even when it broke her heart. "Hukum Sa is getting married," her father said casually, unaware that his words destroyed her world. She cried the whole night. By morning, she returned to the haveli with a smile-because loving him never meant being chosen. Until everything changed. "Say yes... or your baba will die." The threat didn't come from an enemy. It came from the man she trusted the most. Trapped in a marriage she never wanted, seated as a bride in the very room of the man she loved, Siya questioned everything-until the king himself stormed in. "She is my wife!" With fury in his eyes, he claimed her before the entire haveli. A girl who prepared for the man she loved to marry someone else... ended up becoming his "Biwi" instead. Now Siya must survive a royal life filled with secrets, power, and whispers that refuse to stay buried. Can she carry the weight of duty without losing her heart? Will her one-sided love remain unreturned-or will destiny finally change its course? Trinket and Whisper
There's a reason they call Qardis the City of Whispering Walls. Dreams are a myth... An impossibility... A disease detested across the lands of Thelessia... But when the claims of dreams surge across Qardis, defying popular beliefs, silent unrest has terrorized over Qardis. Dreamers are arrested, torn apart from families, wrested away from their homes to an unknown fate, never to return again, spreading fear across the populace over a phenomenon that is not even in their control. How long until the Monocle can answer the people, and how long until the plague of dreams takes over the entire land and the Monocle is left with no one to rule? No one knows why. No one knows how. No one wants to know. But beneath the shadows and marble-floored austerity, conspiracies brew, plots are written, resistance is growing, questions are burning, and the safest and most protected empire of Thelessia is once again on the verge of its own collapse, and this time, the whole world outside its walls is watching. --- For fans of Arcane: League of Legends, Game of Thrones and Avatar the Last Airbender!
