Here is a story that I submitted in order to apply for the 2015 round of Blizzard Entertainment summer internship opportunities. It takes the story of a legendary sword from Warcraft's past and ties it together with events in the current expansion, Warlords of Draenor. My goal was to forge a link between disparate story threads which had been left dangling and bring them into the larger mythos of the universe of the Warcraft series.

Good soldiers follow orders, but true warriors know what is right. Since the start of civilization, soldiers have been a part of every society. They are trained only for one thing: War. Though it is not necessarily a part of the human mentality, it has existed and ravaged over the millenias. Occasionally, a soldier would ask himself: "Why do they fight?" "Is it really worth the lives of our brothers and sisters?" ... "Does love bloom in the darkest of paths?" ++++++++++++++++++++ OC x Male reader insert Slow paced romance and may include in-game characters with actual personalities and interactions that I made myself, because come on.
