This is a story based on the series of the Wortham-Hammond Family collection stories, and Country-Road chronicles (Almost the same series; same character and made by same author). They are made by Leisha Kelly, she is an amazing author and my most favorite. If you don't know the series I suggest looking it up, I do have lots of mentions that come from the book but I do have some of my own ideas in the mix. The title is a work-in-progress. Updates may be unstable, but I have three chapters already planned out. (Cover made with Desyner) Description: America feels like she has failed her family. Her children. The year is 1931, the stock market had crashed two years ago, and America and the states had been moving along pretty well through it all, but just a week into April, everything went wrong for them. Out on the side of the road, America has 16 children with her and the other 32 are on a train, and their on their way to the great state of Nebraska, Things were supposed to be better there. But when they find out things aren't any better than they were in New York, America isn't sure what to do with herself, and her kids. Where will they stay? What will they eat? How will they afford anything TO eat? Come along on a CountryHumans adventure during the Great Depresssion and find out how America, the momma-bear, trudges on to hold up her family with barely a dollar to their name.
