Angel Anaïca Augustine never had an easy life growing up on the streets of Port au Prince as an orphan due to a humanitarian effort at the age of 12 she became a US citizen living in New Orleans with an Elderly couple who runs an antique shop, a timid snake, a homicidal dog, and energetic raven. On the day before her 16th birthday, she goes through a major transformation that causes her way of life to be flipped on its head.
