Madeleine Rose is an idole, a companion sold to vampires, otherwise demeaningly known as a "pet". Since no one had ever paid attention to her before, she expected, once again, to be one of the very few idoles left after a monthly nighttime soirée. However, something about her catches the eyes of vampire Damiano, who was only there to because his friend insisted he accompany him.
Damiano is her first master, but he isn't anything like she expected.
