a poetry collection that somewhat follows my path into recovery.
i'm not saying i'm there yet, or anywhere near 'mentally okay,' but i'm getting closer every day.
TW for mentions of childhood trauma, abuse, divorce, self harm (no details, just a reference to the idea of it), topics of depression, anxiety, and overall mental health and topics that come with recovery and the messiness of it all.
thank you for reading <3

A collection of poems by me
Motivational Poems
Regular updates every Saturday. Hey there my dear poem lovers! I am DrishKing008. I have been writing lots of poems for so much time. I just thought it was time I actually started publishing these. So, here I am. This is a collection of my original motivational poems that will motivate and inspire you. Most of these poems are fairly long. So, you have already been warned. I have put a lot of effort into these poems. I hope you enjoy them and get positivity from them. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ DON'T COPY MY WORK⚠️⚠️⚠️ This is all my original work and has my efforts in it. Don't even think about stealing it. I will take this plagiarism of my work really seriously. Don't steal my original work if you don't want to be in serious trouble. I really mean it!!! Okay, Enjoy!!! ------------ One of the poems, 'The First Snowfall' is an honorable mention in the 'Xmas Advent Contest 2022' ------------ This is my first poem collection. So, the starting poems are not as good. I have decided to leave them there as it shows me how much I have grown and prospered in this field. So, if you just wanna read the good poems, I recommend you start from poem 19 or a bit more late. Thanks! ------------- Highest Ranking ------------ #7 IN POETRY ~BEST RANKING YET #1 in longpoems #1 in motivationalpoems #1 in antidepression #2 in motivational #3 in roast #4 in songbookComplete
Why You
Just poems. Some poems that I have written and others from the internet. If you would like to send me poems, I will dedicate that page to you. Or if you want to stay anonymous that's fine, too. Poems that I have wrote will have a '*' at the end. Please don't steal my own poems, because I worked hard on them. If you do choose to steal MY works, I am hurt. Use your own inspiration and creativity, please, it's not very hard (edit: it is very hard) ;) The poems that I have not written belong to there rightful owners. I will not be taking credit for them.Complete
Dark Poetry
just some poems I wrote when I'm feeling low or in a dark place, my poems help me cope with my depression and other mental problems it also helps me from going all the way down in my dark times. these poems are dark, depressing and some have suicide in them, if you don't like poems like that I wouldn't recommend reading this. If you do like poems like that then please read on. Also if you read these please do not comment that you feel sorry for me, I did not put my poems up for pity or sympathy. nor send me messages wanted to know all about my demons because you see me as entertainment to you now. Thank you. -Skellington_girl95 Also if you enjoyed read these poems, I suggest you read book 2 of this one.Complete
Shit Happens
This is for anyone that can't put there thoughts and feelings into words. Whether it be at your best, worst, most beautiful, or most tragic times. These poems will remind you of them. Or so I hope. Because I mean Shit Happens. What you should expect from this book: I am not trying to make excuses for why I push so many people away, I am not trying to make excuses for my actions, I don't get excuses, not anymore, No, I am merely providing explanations, If you don't like them, If you don't except them, If you just don't care, Then that's on you, Because I will not answer the question why anymore, I will bare my soul to you in the folds of these pages, Not saying a word, These are my explanations, These are me, Do with them as you will. And I mean, just don't be an asshole. Thanks. Kisses <3Complete
Sleepless Nights
These are just some things I write when it's late at night and I can't sleep... -first thing i've published, i'm well aware how amateur it is... if you're willing to endure it then i love you. I'll probably love you anyways though oops :*Complete
The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. I don't mean to cause anyone problems of any sort, but these are the things I feel and can't help. Please keep negativity away as this is a sensitive subject for a lot of people. Thank you. A Dead Poet's Musings
Hey there! This is a collection of all my poems at one place. All of them are very close to me for they are mostly -sometimes fully, sometimes loosely- based on my life. Safe to say, this is a guide to whatever is in my mind, whatever I've been through. This is me in a way, in the form of poems. Happy Reading friends Hope ya like it✨
