"Steve! Truth, or dare?" Carol asks.
"Dare." Steve smirks.
"I dare you... to dress up with someone as romantic clichés for a week. But! You have to dress up with a guy, and I get to choose who that is on Friday. You start dressing up on Monday."
It can't be that bad, right?
"Deal."
"Eddie Munson? You're kidding me. He'd never-"
"A dare's a dare, Stevie~!"
They watch Eddie Munson hop onto the table and start calling out the jocks. They push Steve towards him.
"E-Eddie!" Eddie jumps down to meet him.
"Oh, King Steve, what a pleasant surprise!" Eddie leans closer to him. "What brings you to my domain, pretty boy?"
Steve gulps. This might be harder than he thought.

As they stared at each other for a little while, he noticed specks of gold and green within the gorgeous shades of reddish brown. "Your eyes are really pretty," he blurted. Steve chuckled.
