Przez ponad dwieście lat panował spokój. Nie było wojen, tylko małe potyczki. Ewolucję rozpoczęła Nedia, dziewczyna o nieziemskich mocach, jej zwierzęciem był kruk. Od niej zaczął się przełom strażników. Każdy kraj miał tylko dwóch strażników. Wyróżniali się tym, że mieli zwierzę. Lecz nie był to zwykły kruk, wilk lub ptak. Każdy z nich miał jakiś dar, którym obdarzał swojego właściciela. Rozumiał i czuł to co on. Z wiekiem ludzie zaczęli uważać to za dar, że tacy ludzie są obdarzeni mocą. Lecz nikt o nich głośno nie mówił. Kilkadziesiąt lat temu nazywali już ich strażnikami, ale nikt nie wiedział, kto nim był lub będzie. Było to w ścisłej tajemnicy, nawet przed osobą, która miała być tym darem obdarzona...

World Witches: Arctic Circle
May 9th, 2042; The day after the end of World War Three and the surrender of Germania, which was analogously named the 5th Reich, as officially designated by the Organization of Nations. On this day, crowds filled the streets of every major city worldwide, celebrating the elimination of the greatest threat to the existence of the human race. However, while parties and crowds gathered in two of the three major cities in New Canteria, namely Okha and Vladivostok, the third major city, Arnket, was undergoing decontamination due to the radiation caused by a German nuclear strike in early May as it had resulted in a large crater and an engineered radioactive toxic rain cloud. Aside from that though it seemed as if all would go swimmingly for humanity. Until an alien race named the Neuroi appeared. The date is June 9th, 2042. A full month after the surrender of Germania and a week after the Mecklenburg-Vorpommen massacre. As New Canteria was receiving flak from the Organization of Nations, a sudden disturbance was detected by a Canadian satellite as a mysterious black cloud arose from the North Pole. However the Canadian government paid no mind to it. The last mistake they would make as it was them. They struck down on humanity like a thunderbolt in their most vulnerable moments as the North Canadian forces in the area were almost destroyed from the Neuroi attack, driving thousands and eventually millions from their homes in a attempt to escape the Neuroi. However the human race wouldn't go down without a fight. Mobilizing troops freed up from the end of WW3, the ON and a new organization named NORDEN (NHDA) made a successful resistance against the Neuroi and drove them back to the North Pole. However what they found next would have news of it reverberate across the world. A wormhole to a universe still fighting the Neuroi. You see, there are these apps where anybody can write books, stories and the sort and one day, scrolling the FB (which I don't usually do but I kill time with it on occasions) my eyes fell on a title that made me scoff. The title, 'Mafia in Love'. I remember I laughed terribly then, one of the very few times I laughed, or smiled for that matter. Some people truly feel they know anything about Mafia. It was not far from the truth, though. We are in love. We are in love with money, power, luxury and women. Actually more like to f. women. A lot. At least that's what I love. We love to say "Forget abou'it!" when actually we don't forget at all. Oh, and guns. Yeah, I was in love with my own that was never far from me, always nicely tucked in the belt of my suit pants, always my best companion. I can't even count how many times it saved my life. So, unless the story was about that, I was positive it was nothing but a load of crap and bullshit, probably written by a silly teenage girl who fell in love with some actor playing in a mafia movie. Either way, I laughed and forgot about it. For a while. Until I saw it again in a notification flashing on the screen of my phone while I was shitty high, bored and pissed in the office of my favorite club. ONCE my mom told me that we, as humans, only fear what we do not know and that that is the sole reason for violence. We do not know what is to come of something, so in retaliation we immediately fight it off before we can ever find out; before we can ever see if there is any beauty in it. My mom is gone now. Along with any sanity we as a people have left. The year is 2193, and the world is at war. We, humans, are at war with each other only because of what we are and what we can do. We fear what we do not know, thus all we know is ignorance. The government, our democracy, our people and our world have fallen. Nothing good ever comes from being afraid of the abnormalities of others, especially when those abnormalities are amazing. The truth is, none of us are normal. Everyone's definition of normality is different, making it humanly impossible for anyone to ever accomplish the craved label of "normal". Then again, everything we have grown capable of was once described as humanly impossible. By those standards none of us are human. Not even me. A U T H O R ' S N O T E : This book is completed and there will be a second book coming out sometime next year, most likely in the summer. Please excuse any grammar issues or misspellings I have. The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it. Everything is about monetary gain and if you don't got the green you better have a way to survive. Help wont come when you need it. There is no home and having shame is a simple thing of the past. We all tell people to have hope. We tell them that if they work hard enough that change will eventually come and with that change they will find their happy ending. I've watched humans kill for that happy ending. I've committed murder when a tyrant thought to torture the only good thing in this world I have ever found in this fucked up place. Even when I tried to save it, I still lost it. Yeah, you heard right. I am no saint. This world is far from cupcake and t ,rainbows and their isn't not one soul that could tell me different. I have had to fight to survive since the day I lii I broke out of an egg into this world. No one has ever known where I came from and from the moment I got here I've never know any kindness. I have always been the odd one out because I was different. I'm not talking different just because the color of my skin. I'm talking different because when I get well and truly pissed I turn into a vicious monster. I'm not talking a kiddie monster like the one that creeps under your bed while you are sleeping or chooses to hide in your closet. I'm the type that you cant get away from. I travel through space and time. If I want you, I will have you. I have the powers of invisibility on my side, and you will never see me coming.
