"Oh." He looked up, watching as Albert's dog slowly trotted up to his dead body and nudged his head, whimpering as his eyes filled with tears. "Your owner wasn't a good enough person to mourn over, dog."

He side-stepped the dog and murmured a quiet apology as he stepped over Max's body, he stood at the bottom of the stairs looking up at them and then behind him. He nodded subtly to himself, as if to say goodbye, before making his way up the stairs. He walked out the door, and stood in front of the house, taking into account the amount of police cars there were out-front.

Finally Meant (Book 5 of Series)

63 parts Complete Mature

I made my way through the dark apartment and found the couch. What was going on at this hour that wouldn't allow me to sleep? Whatever it was it was intense, and I wasn't able to ignore it. The rain could be heard smacking into the concrete and against my window. I step out into my patio to watch it, nothing seems of the ordinary, or nothing I could piece together. I felt...sad in a way. This wasn't my sadness, my heart ached for someone else, but who? Why? I rubbed my chest, puzzled by this mystery. I was somehow feeling someones misfortune. I prayed to God this person was alright. Final Book of the 'Meant To' Series.
