A young water elemental, the princess of the water elementals, finds herself in the middle of something she can't figure out. She's forced to leave her home, to learn how to live a normal human life, and how to deal with her archenemy- an earth elemental. She slowly learns, but thanks to her archenemy, she gets sent to Nighthood Manor. The worst bordering school for delinquent elementals.
Her parents warned her of the boarding school before she, and her cousin, were shuffled off to live with her mothers parents. Now she has to worry about new friends, new training, new battles, and a forbidden love.
This is her story, so she thinks. The only question is, will she be strong enough to survive and keep everyone else safe?

Two hundred years of peace have passed in Zertima, a land filled with magic, creatures, and mages. However, after those two hundred years comes an era of fear, fighting, and death. The Venom's Curse, known as the world's greatest danger, has climbed up to reach a level of great power, with the help of his fierce hunger for battle and commanding, that is strong enough to possibly secure his rule of the entire mage world. Ignacia, the Elemental Mage of Fire, is the newest and last mage to be Founded and come to the others. Along with easily getting into arguments with Water Mage Salil, she is in an internal battle with herself trying to decide what choice she should really choose to carry through with. *Book originally inspired by "The Burning Sky" by Sherry Thomas.
