Nicholai never believed in love-at-first-sight, he never believed in love at all, actually. It's nothing but a physiological, chemical reaction in the brain, and only psychologically interpreted by humans. He had come to terms with the reality years ago. He had girlfriends and enjoyed their company, but he refused to become a slave to love like so many others. Until someone moved into the house across the street.

Natasha never had time to do what she wanted, her mother hated change to routine and any sort of impulsive behavior. She would rather have moved in with her father, instead she was stuck with her mother until adulthood. Luckily, she made a friend quickly, who also happened to be her neighbor.
