The day is 14 August, 2012. The contract marriage between Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi Kumari Gupta stands no more and it is now time to end things once and for all.
And yet, as the two of them move apart, their hearts still beat for each other. The pain of staying in a forced marriage, based on betrayal and misunderstanding, is nothing compared to the anguish that sweeps them as they embark on a lifetime journey without one another. It is now that both of them realise, that the dreams they nurtured and the hopes they harbored, were all impossible.

This is a short story based on the song 'Impossible' by James Arthur, a rendition that I think would befit the feelings of Arnav and Khushi if the truth about Shyam had not come out on time.
This is, therefore, NOT a full fledged fanfiction. I intend to simply explore the emotions of Arnav and Khushi as they separate. The ending is most likely to be open-ended.
