A rebellious rich young man (jin) is sent to help educate a tribe living in the luscious green hills as retribution but has no interest in doing so because he was forced to do it, a junior forest official (Assistant Conservator of Forests or ACF) (namjoon) is appointed to help him, he is also impassioned about the well-being of the forest and the people living in it. The story revolves around the misunderstandings between the two that slowly turns into a subtle adoration as they start to see the human under the unappealing masks that they have been showing to each other and how they cross paths with other main characters and the influence the meeting has on the each other's life.
