Jane Shepard was the perfect soldier. Dutiful, Honourable and always wanting to do the 'right' thing. As was proven, during the Skillian Blitz. Yes, if the Alliance drew a picture of the perfect soldier...she would be it.
By contrast, her brother Jaden, whilst he had more talent than his twin sister, and was far more charismatic than her...he was the exact opposite of her. Disrespectful, Dishonourable and performed his duties at any cost.
Whilst she became the Lion of Elysium, a true hero. He was known as the Butcher of Torfan. The perfect villain.
He was the Ultimate Renegade, and she was a True Paragon.
