I never knew what I wanted to study. I've always loved learning, regardless of the topic, because I wanted to understand the world. When I first read the description of sociology, it was love at first sight, a missing link that united my heart and my mind.

Unfortunately, my connection with sociology was followed up by an incurable disconnect between myself and Rome Taylor. Know-it-all, distant, difficult-to-work-with Rome Taylor who has made it clear that he has never liked me.

He's the vice president of my presidency. The harsh peer review editor to all my essays. The competition against all my award nominations.
