Amaryllis Potter returns to Hogwarts for her seventh year at the encouragement of both Ginny and Hermione; under the promise that Neville Longbottom her sort-of boyfriend would also be returning. She just never expected him to return as the new (and youngest in all of history) professor of Herbology at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Ghosts haunt the halls, and not always actual ghosts; nightmares stalk her from every corner, filled with the terrors of what had gone on just last year. Children were tortured there, she was tortured and broken there, she had died there, and she wasn't the only one that died there but she was the only one that had come back to life, forced to live a life she no longer wants. That in itself is a mystery, nobody knows how she did it and if anyone did they aren't telling. Left in the dark about what happened those short few months ago, Amy struggles to go back to being a child at school while feeling like an adult who had carried a burden much to heavy for even a hundred adults. It's been left to Ginny, Hermione and Neville to try and bring Amy back from the darkened halls of her own mind.
