Mina Thomas, an eight year old winged Naga living in the hills of Scotland. Life couldn't be better. Getting along on the ground was a little slow due to the lack of legs, but she was used it. Besides, she could fly!

But her life turned upside down in an instant when a strange enemy swept through her colony, capturing some, killing many.

She found herself trapped in the dark and cold, being cramped, unable to fly, and only seeing sunlight when being shown off to a crowd. 

Life was unbearable.

But Mina had always been determined. She knew she would make it out.

The question was how?

Samantha is down on her luck, stuck within a deep rooted financial crisis. Living with her two best friends Louise and Marcus who are giving up on any help with rent money or living costs. Putting it into her pocket she moves on and looks for a way home not thinking much more on it. Out of the blue an old lady turns up at her door and asks for the object back warning her of the bad luck it has. Samantha kindly goes to fetch it, hands it over and only when she closes the door does she wonder just how this lady has found her home? Upon telling Louise and Marcus she is laughed out the room and disbelieved. However, when one of them notices something very unpredictable happening within their room they start to very quickly believe in what Samantha was saying!

My mother says my endless curiosity and my need to venture is a curse. Though, I know she only says that because I'm just like my father; who went out to curb his appetite for new experiences and never came home. Do I feel abandoned? No. How could I?
