In this story, Ripley hasn't died, Sullivan is Battalion Chief and Herrera is captain. Michael is also still alive and works at Station 88.

I appreciate the dates of birth of the children don't match up with the prequel and I'm sorry I realised it afterwards so you're just going to have to pretend they do 😇
