Every twenty years couples are allowed to bear one child and after they are born they must be put into dormant pods until they are of age. This is because food, supplies, and water are limited. Mazarine Ectorious is a female, with dark lobelia blue eyes and jet-black hair. She is awoken among the rest of her generation when they turn eighteen. What secrets will unfold when she finds how rare her trait is? Will she be executed for being different or will she escape into the radiation-filled world?All Rights Reserved

For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on.
