Everyone knew a war was coming, but they didn't know when. No one was certain if they were safe even if they pledged to the Greens or the Blacks (as what they call it). The House of Arryn, related by blood to the rightful heir to the throne, Princess Rhaenyra, would fight for her right, they bent the knee to her and pledged themselves.

𝑩𝒖𝒕 unfortunate things happened - a dagger was raised in the air and blood of falcon and dragon was spilled. Two children, merely at the age of ten, were left scarred that night.

And from that night an onwards, Prince Aemond Targaryen had claimed not only a dragon but a girl whose eyes were as blue as the sky.
