Five Trainers: Cynthia, Cyrus, Palmer, Asato and Lucian. They set out on an adventure together, but with different dreams and different paths ahead. Cynthia becomes the Sinnoh League Champion. Palmer and Asato build a Battle Tower. Lucian joins the Elite Four. Cyrus eventually denounces friendship and forms Team Galactic in search of a world without spirit, but why? How? What becomes of them all after the events of Pokémon Platinum?
  
  In three books in one, this story explores the lives of these characters before and after the games we meet them in. Two of them find themselves satisfied with life. Another accepts that their life is the way it is. However, Cyrus isn't the only one who meets a tragic end.
