Stalked

I can see him, out of the corner of my eye. He's walking. Closer, closer and closer to me. Coming up the street, he stays hidden in the shadows, where he belongs. When he is less then a block away, I start to run... But he is running now too. I trip on a stone then hear him hover above me. He bends down, breath stinking like beer and climbs on top of me. He whispers in my ears, "Hello sweetie, looks like I finally get to be with you..." I can hear the smile when he speaks. I try to fight and get him off of me but he is too large. I begin to scream but I am cut off when my face is slammed into the cold, hard pavement below. I begin to slowly drift off, slipping into the darkness...
